Day 17 1/2/2015

We woke up early to head for the Cango Caves so we could get on a tour. Afterwards we had breakfast. Then we head into town to find the Suspension bridge. As a kid I used to walk across it with my family. My dad used to walk across it during the army on Sundays. So after taking some photos, we headed off to the unknown. Quick stop at “Ronnie’s Sex Shop” for lunch.

Day 16 31/1/2015

We woke up not too early, had breakfast and then packed up and drove to Outdshoorn for the night. Kieron wanted to see the Cango Caves.

We stayed at this amazing tented camp. It was beautiful even though it was cold.

Day 15 30/1/2015

This morning we had to get up very early to head to Colesberg. Our first stop was breakfast and then Golden Gate, Free State. Then later in the day we stop in LadyBrand for lunch. My mom’s family grew up there so we went down memory lane. I had to show Kieron where I had many holidays as a kid. We also had to stop by Top House, which was the first house built in LadyBrand. My mom’s grandfather owned. Also we had to visit the family plot in the graveyard. Annual tradition. We evenually got to Colesview, Colesberg where we were going to stay for the night.

Day 14 29/1/2015

To be honest I don’t really remember what we did this day. I think most of the day was getting ready to leave early the next day for the long trip home. We might have gone out for dinner for the last night together.

Tomorrow we have to leave very early to get to Colesberg before dark.

Day 13 28/1/2015

Went to Spur for breakfast and then we did a drive down the coast called a small seaside town of Scottsberg. It is a beautiful little town.
